The genesis of ACRES is the vast patchwork of rapidly vanishing, small but richly bio-diverse, backyard neighborhood pocket woodlands that support life: animal, plant, and human.
The belief of ACRES is that communities can responsibly plan and implement environmentally sustainable land-use practices, minimizing our collective footprint for the benefit of present and future generations.
